A little about me

A 2018 Oberlin College graduate, having majored in Environmental Studies and Politics, while pursiung my passion for Photography and Cinematography.

I made this site in order to show the best of my photography and cinematography skills. What you see on the site is a small amount of photography and cinematography, and what I believe demonstrates some of my best work.

My Experience:

I currently live in Washington D.C., the co-founder and head of marketing on an online music lesson platform I founded with my roommate and friend from college, Virtu.Academy. Previously I was a photo and video Fellow at EPA’s Office of Multimedia, combining my studies and passions in which my photo and video skills improved drastically. And of course, trying to update this website in my spare time!

After graduating from Oberlin College in the summer of 2018, I was an Arthur Blank Environmental Studies Research Fellow for the college, working on producing video and photo content to engage the public around environmental sustainability issues, while also working as a photographer and videographer for Oberlin’s Office of Communications, covering events and providing photos for college publications.

During the summer of 2017, I was an editorial assistant at The World Policy Journal, working in New York City on editing pieces and promoting the summer issue, “Justice Denied.” During the summer of 2016 as well as last winter, I served as an intern at the U.S. EPA Office of Multimedia. In this role, I was able to draw attention to important environmental issues, such as the Toxics Release Inventory, by researching, photographing and filming content that provided essential and accessible information to the public. Assisting the EPA’s producers allowed me to combine my interest in environmental issues with my photography and videography skills. I also gained firsthand experience taking an idea from the storyboard to a final product for public release.

At Oberlin I was the Photo Editor of the Oberlin Review where I oversaw the translation of complex story ideas pitched from staff and section heads, into photo assignments, which I then delegated to our staff of photographers. Throughout my senior year, I was a photographer for the Oberlin College Communications Department, taking photos on assignment as well as doing studio portrait work. In addition, I filmed, edited and produced video content for Oberlin College’s Office of Environmental Sustainability. These work experiences have exposed me to fast-paced working environments and allowed me to broaden my communication, time management, leadership, and writing skills.
